The door will also lock during the self cleaning cycle and won t unlatch until the temperature inside the oven cools to about 200 degrees fahrenheit.
Most electronic control ovens will display a fault code to indicate that the sensor has failed.
If the door won t open when the oven cools down after self cleaning or when you try to disable child lock mode or control lock mode the problem could be with the oven door lock assembly or the electronic control board.
Push the rod forward and open the oven door.
